This morning started the same way it usually does — sending my daughter off to school. It was a bit chilly, but the sunlight felt soft and warm. While I was there, I noticed they had Matcha Emong, one of my favorite drinks. I didn’t plan on buying anything, but I couldn’t resist. Small treats like this make my mornings feel a little happier. After finishing the errand, I took a short walk around my neighborhood. The walkway was covered with fallen leaves and the sunlight peeked through the trees. It felt quiet and peaceful — a nice moment just for myself before starting the rest of the day.
When I got home, I had kimchi gimbap for a simple breakfast. It’s spicy, well-balanced, and rich in flavor. I almost made some ramen because the gimbap wasn’t enough, but I stopped myself.
